The main advantages of aluminum die castings and their operating temperatures

PTJ Aluminum die castings

PTJ has mature technology and rich experience in aluminum casting and owns perfect mold developing equipment, precise finishing equipment and testing equipment.

The main advantages of aluminum die castingsAluminum die castings play an important role in the current industry. They are widely used in many industries. The society is constantly developing and people's living needs are getting higher and higher. Demand is also increasing.

The main advantages of aluminum die casting

  1. The shape of the aluminum die-casting part is beautiful and light in weight, and it can be conveniently transported during the operation, and is also a great advantage in the automobile.
  2. The density of aluminum alloy is obviously smaller than that of cast iron and cast steel, but it is much higher in strength and corrosion resistance. Therefore, the use of aluminum die castings can greatly reduce the structural weight under the same load weight.
  3. For the surface of aluminum alloy, it is very good in surface gloss and also performs well in casting performance.
The mechanical properties and tensile strength of aluminum die-castings are highly resistant when the material is broken during production. To some extent, the elongation is a measure of the brittleness and plasticity of the material. Hardness is the hard surface of the material. Resistance to plastic deformation caused by pressing or rubbing.
The working temperature and humidity of the aluminum die-casting parts, as well as the medium and airtightness requirements of the workpiece contact, the accuracy and dimensional stability of the requirements of the entire product.

The accuracy of the aluminum die casting profile and the roughness of the surface will directly affect the working efficiency of the pump and hydraulic system, energy consumption and cavitation development, etc., internal combustion engine cylinder block, cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston ring The strength and resistance to chilling and heat of cast aluminum parts such as exhaust pipes directly affect the working life of the engine.
Aluminum die castings are preferred to use sand casting. The main reason is that sand casting has lower cost than other casting methods, simple production process and short production cycle. When the wet type does not meet the requirements, consider using a clay sand table dry sand type, dry sand type or other sand type. The casting method of cast aluminum parts should be compatible with the production batch, casting methods such as low pressure casting, die casting, centrifugal casting, etc. Because the equipment and the mold are expensive, it is only suitable for mass production, and the cast aluminum parts can be cast in one piece or in batches.
